Shams El-Din is an advocate of the High Supreme Court of Egypt following his admission to the bar. He has been a practicing advocate for 45 years. He is the partner in charge of heads the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department including many large local and international companies and prominent business individuals in the region.
He has also acted on major policy and legislative drafting initiatives for Ministries and Government Agencies.
Shams El-Din has extensive experience representing clients on legal and Sharia issues before all courts, the Board of Grievances, judicial committees and arbitration tribunals in corporate and commercial litigation including administrative law, labour disputes, banking and finance litigation, compensation and trademark infringement.
Shams El-Din has experience in conveyancing matters, commercial matters, and civil and criminal litigation, He is well versed in the preparation and reviews of Agreements for Sale, Leases, Transfers, Charges, Discharges of Charge, Chattel Mortgages, Debentures and Registration of Documents in the respective registries and general Bank Securities. In the Commercial law sphere, Shams El-Din has gained experience over the years in the incorporation of companies, societies, trusts and commercial litigation.
